@job0606 – depends what you need it for, 250MB is adequate for most users who’re just starting out. Its free – so 250 isn’t bad. If you need more then go with hostgator – its not a lot to pay for like 10gb with hg.

@ItsSri – you’re welcome, let me know what you think of 000webhost’s free webhosting service. I’ve used them for two sites in the past, both of which I ended up selling.

The only thing they require is that your site gets traffic within 14 days of you creating the account. Meaning you have 14 days to upload your site from the day you open an account with them.

To get started on traffic you can just submit your site to a few directories, use google sitemap etc. And feel free to come back here and post a link to your site in the comments.

Glad you guys like it, like I said, it was a really quick article – on my next one I’ll give more detailed step by step instructions and also provide lists of other free or cheap hosts as well as directories and stuff to submit to.
